The architectural brief was to construct a K-12 school for a prominent school chain which believes in holistic growth of its wards. z axis design studio's idea was anchored on the philosophy of students wanting to explore, ideate, prototype, and reflect. This philosophy translated to an architectural design which incorporated volume massing that emphasised on creating spaces which fostered the attributes of explore, ideate, prototype, and reflect among the students and the teachers. The subsequent choice of materials and colours furthered the design philosophy adopted. On the functional end of things, the design incorporates the strict building codes of ensuring seamlessly flow from various spaces which maximising the natural light through a large central atrium and strip windows to the side.Incorporating of soft landscape elements at every level like plants and trees lends the design a natural and human feel.
